    I skimmed the chapter, and did not read the chapter thoroughly.
    I read in depth the entire chapter.

  1. What would you do differently if you took this course again?


  1. Last year's students did chapter outlines instead of chapter identifications. What is your reaction?
    I believe that chapter outlines would help me think more thematically.
    I think chapter identifications were just as effective as an outline would be.


  1. Which of the following best describes how you usually tackled the weekly chapter assignments?
    I typically waited until the night before they were due and identified all terms in one sitting, sometimes staying up late at night to finish it.
    I usually started the weekend before they were due.
    I paced myself throughout the entire week.


  1. Do you think it would be helpful or necessary to require students to have a certain number of chapter identifications due each class period to help students with pacing. (ex. ids #1-10 are due Thursday, #11-20 due Monday, #21-30 due Tuesday)
    No, part of this experience was acquiring the self-discipline to pace myself
    Yes, breaking down the weekly assignment would be helpful

    Yes, I feel like I did all that I could do studying on my own.
    No, because I did not realize how difficult and challenging the exam would be.

  1. Administration and the counseling office tried their best to let upcoming AP students know how rigorous the AP curriculum would be. Is there anything you wish you were told or you wish you knew regarding the AP curriculum before you signed up for an AP course?


  1. Why did you choose to take an AP course? You may choose more than one answer.
    Because my parents wanted me to.
    Because I knew it would increase my chances of getting into a competitive college.
    I wanted to challenge myself.
    I wanted to improve my reading, writing, and critical-thinking skills.
    I wanted to surround myself with other high-calibar students.


  1. This year quite a few students dropped the course. What would you say to them to help convince them to stick with it?


  1. Would you recommend this course to an upcoming junior? Why or why not?
